Does going on hospice mean giving up?

I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am for Silverado Hospice. The amount of compassion shown made the entire experience that should have been hell, a bit easier. Without Silverado, I’m not sure how my family would have made it possible.
— Chris Khatchaturian
Silverado Hospice staff was caring, professional and understanding. We are forever grateful for the staff & especially his nurse Audrey. I highly recommend Silverado for your hospice needs.
— Deby Galman
They have wonderful connections in the community with 24 hour pharmacies that deliver quickly anytime. I can't imagine how impossible things would have been without Audrey and Silverado Hospice. We are forever grateful.
— Tina K.
I had my mom on Silverado Hospice and she wasn’t an easy patient for them or myself. I’m thankful I had their assistance through the milestone in my life. Thank you all.

Silverado Hospice Coastal Valleys

Proudly provides compassionate end-of-life care to patients throughout northern San Diego and southern Riverside Counties.

Every life is unique, and at Silverado Hospice Coastal Valleys we believe that the best way to honor our patients is to provide personalized care that is true to their character. Our philosophy is based in addressing the palliative care needs of patients and providing compassionate support and guidance for both patients and their loved ones. All of this is designed to work toward bringing families and friends closer to their departing loved one.

Our approach to hospice includes many special options that allow us to celebrate our patients’ lives and fill the final stages with comfort and dignity.

It is Time For Hospice?

Patient services are provided without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability (mental or physical), communicable disease, or place of national origin. Read our nondiscrimination policy here.

Why choose Silverado Hospice for my loved one?

The creation of Silverado Hospice was inspired when our nurses saw an unfilled need for end of life care that truly addressed all possible needs of the mind, body and spirit. In 2004 this inspiration became a reality and Silverado began using our unique and innovative approach to provide hospice care.
