Twenty five years ago – in October of 1996 – a seed of an idea was planted. The concept of providing a better quality of life and raising the standards of care for those living with memory impairments. With focus, great effort and a strong set of principles, it has grown into something truly special. Something that has changed the world.

Silverado Hospice was started when nurses in Silverado memory care communities suggested that individuals at the end of life’s journey, both residents in our communities and anyone else, could benefit from end-of-life care delivered with our unique blend of compassion and clinical excellence.
