Hospice Nurses Connect with Patients

Silverado Hospice Los Angeles nurses are always looking for unique ways to connect with their patients. Rose Guerra LVN is seen here showing one of our patients the wonderful hand buddies made by our amazing volunteers. Hand buddies are helpful in preventing hand contractures, they also provide visual and tactile stimulation.

Instructing our patients on the use of them is just one of the many ways we can help and empower our patients. It is also a powerful example of how we work collaboratively to provide our patients the best care possible.
