Shauna Gruwell

Shauna Gruwell is a new member of the Silverado hospice team as Spiritual Care Counselor. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from BYU, then completed chaplain training and board certification from World Spiritual Health Organization (WSHO). She spent 4 years as a live-in caregiver for her grandparents prior to chaplain training, so she understands the challenges of caregiving. Shauna has been present at the passing of six family members, including her father and grandparents. She uses these experiences to help others in a grief support group that she facilitates twice a month.
